I run a Standard Products TS17 Temp sender in my 1968 383 motor, I have a buddy that has the same year car, but has a 440 motor and his temperature sender is Standard Products TS205. What is the difference between the two senders?

According to tech support at Standard, there is no difference from what he has to look at. Both have the same thread pitch, and ohmic values for both 100 degrees (152.2 Ohms) and 220 degrees (24.7 Ohms). I asked him to look into it further and send me an email. If I get any other info, I will post it.

Yea, that's what I'm hearing. You can use either one.
