Tested at Milan tonaight after the spin problem the last few races. Mark Mennscer told us to lower the pressure in the M/T radial slicks to 16 Psi. Started at 16.5 psi. What a difference, 1.32 right off the bat. Then swapeed to the new Eddy Thunder series carbs, untouched and no air pan to seal the carbs. Imediately went 9.5800 (best ever pass with the 477") along with a 1.2998 60ft. We tried to run the air pan but it slowed down. Tried jetting richer with the air pan and it still isnt right. So more testing to get that figured out. Had a 12-16mph head winsd all night as well.

Interesting.

It's an odd combo of parts that our friend Sean put together. He was upgrading and offered him the motor for less than it would of cost us to buy used parts to build one together ourselves. Had less than 10 runs on it. 477" low deck, 4.360" bore, 4.00" Crower light weight crank, Indy SR with ti valves, Diamond pistons 11.8-1, GRP rods, .760" roller, Harland Sharp rockers, modified Indy mod man, 2 Eddy 800 AVS. 4.10 dana, 8" T/A converter. Weighs around 3480 w/ him.
