Yes, a small shaped charge placed on top of the stopper will do the trick. Thermite will work too.

Man, I love me some Thermite. Back in the 70's we had one for every truck or launcher. Just in case East Germany charged the fence that was 100 feet away. Pop that bad boy and set it on the block and walk away. Will go all the way through and into the ground.

It's kind of funny seeing various ways to empty a tub. (I can think of many myself) Waiting for it to evaporate would work (for example)
In the OP (and the joke) the only givens were the tub with water and three items to perhaps bale/empty it with.
Some of us maybe should just be day visitors to the asylum.

Or the one for use on safes, about 18”square with a little pull cord at one corner(1/2” thick I think). Definitely drain the water out!

Or...mix some bags of cement in the tub and now you have a bench....now you can play jumping jacks on it also.....next
