All of news programs these days are

1264018973-trash_pile.jpg

Even my talk radio programs are more about some DB suing over nonsense or the NFL stuff. They did manage to fit in a 60 second bit about Scotland but the other 59 minutes of my drive was irrelevant to my or 99.97% of anyone else's day that was listening.

God forbid the truth actually gets told.

Some of it is true. But I don't need a five or ten minute segment on who had a baby. Or how some idiot 1000 miles away told the manager at Burger King he was suing over cold fries.

Political commentary or scripted editorial, Ubber PC/BS for the most part...

no real journalism anymore,
no vetting/actual fact checking a "news" story anymore,
reposting something they read of Wikipedia or Facebook or on a twitter account,
some other lame social media site,
just mostly political spin of some sort or other,
influenced by what the paying advertiser will put up with,
influenced by big Unions, or some big corporation,
influenced or now owned by,
some partisan multi billionaire backer to some Political party or other...

I do watch the 5 {more of a round table discussion/banter} & the Kelly files on Fox News
{yes it's a little conservative skewed},
she's a great investigative reporter, she & her team vets & checks her sources & she's a lawyer, smart beautiful lady/mother, tells it straight, that doesn't take any **** from anyone, I can see past the sometimes partisanship...
Among many other news sources,
I do like to watch O'Riely sometimes too, not really news thou,
just current affairs, commentary & good guests,
I do like to watch BBC allot too, might be some of the best actual world news
they don't have as much Dem./Leftist/Big Union/Blue Dog political spin like the
NBC CBS ABC MSNBC CNBC CNN etc. so called news channels,
basically just reading Liberal talking points, verbatim like it was scripted/handed down from the WH...

That's when I'm not watching some kind of car show, racing, sports, nature or gun stuff,
some vintage programs from the 1960's-70's TV, MY-TV, ME-TV, TV-Land, ELRAY, ANTEN-TV etc. when I watch regular TV...

I do like Red Eye {with host from the 5/Greg Guttfeld} late night here 12:00am,
a comedic/multicultural spoof on the daily news, hot ladies too, kind of a metrosexual spin on daily reports...

I do like Fox Business News good reporting on financials, John Stossel is pretty good too...

Sometime if I'm really bored I watch Comedy Net. John Stewart {Dem. skewed} or Stephen Colber,
makes me laugh, sometime I just need a good laugh...

TV is usually just background noise, during the day, I'm not really watching more just listening,
helps makes the "workday" go by a little quicker...

Little to no integrity or real journalism in "alleged" New Reporting anymore...
we don't have any Cronkite's or Brinkly's anymore...

I watch about 3 hours of TV a week. We don't have cable/sat at my house.

I have two hours of drive time everyday for work so all my "news" is talk radio. It's terrible. Red-eye (1am to 5am) use to be decent but as of the past month of so it's gone down hill. Wall Street Journal Report is ok but not that great, ton of commercials.
