Ive got the carb cleaned up pretty well, I think everything looks good, the thing I'm worrying about is everywhere Ive read says check for play in the throttle shaft.. Does this mean play as in the shaft can slide (which it can slide just a bit when the primaries are open), or does it mean play as in front and back? Sorry probably not a good explanation. Can anyone explain this to me?? Thanks fellas

Play in the shaft-means to check for vacuum leaks. Round shaft and oval hole.

Best way to explain it is the difference in the diameter of the throttle shaft hole relative to the shaft. Too much clearance will allow too much air in. They all wiggle a little.

Thanks Meep, thanks amx, I thought thats what was meant, just wanted to hear it from someone.. thanks fellas!
