Thinking about retiring?

Next year. They treat me well I get to travel the world on their dime. Wife for some reason wants to do 4 more years but she does get a state pension if she hangs.
But I keep asking for someone to train. My staff is ok but not sure if any could handle the constant priority changes. I juggle well.
Look forward to doing so many things I just don’t have time for now.

Nieces and nephews, mine and Shirley’s will get the $$$, but we may spend in on care home bills some day. My plan is to stay in my house as long as I can.

Same here. We designed our home to age in place. Everything is on one floor with 3’ wide doors, a 4’ wide hallway, walk in shower with a seat and comfort height toilets.

There are specialty stores you can go try out canes, walkers, lift chairs, bathroom aids, tools to help get dressed, etc. I found one nearby when Mom started having trouble with her knees and falling.
