This is on 1969 Super Bee, 383, 330 hp version. Looks like the ones online for the idiot lights and not the gauge. I have the gauge of course, electric not plumbed in.

Since I purchased the car, Tthe engine was only running for a short period of time moving it around and I really don’t recall if the gauge worked then. I’ve since had the entire cluster restored.

So many things were backyard engineered and I don’t want to get it back together then have to replace. Easy switch out now.

Thanks

That one is a straight-up switch...it does only 'on' or 'off'; it runs a warning light only. If you have a gauge (with a needle and pressure graduations), you need the larger variable-resistance sender.

Can't say about a 69 Bee but a 69 RR with air (330 hp) is turquoise. 335 HP (no a/c) is orange.

Engine should be painted orange in a 1969 Bee, even with A/C

No sir. I used to think that and researched ad nauseam. Was turquoise when I purchased it and I thought it was wrong.
Anyway, mine was factory air and factory four speed (not that that matters, just a bit rare). Anyway, my engine is the 330 horsepower version, ac compressor barely fits under hood etc. This car came factory with the turquoise engine.

...ad nauseam.
True-dat.

Do you have your broadcast by chance? This is the info I have for 69 383s colors based on assembly numbers. It's as accurate as I have, -which ain't sayin' nuthin'! :)

897 - 383 4BBL, man, A/C, 330hp, Turquoise 1969
899 - 383 4BBL, auto, A/C, 330hp, Turquoise 1969
900 - 383 4BBL, auto, heater, 330hp, Turquoise 1969
925 - 383 4BBL, man, heater, 335hp, Orange 1969
926 - 383 4BBL, auto, heater, 335hp, Orange 1969

no broadcast sheet. Fender tag indicates ac and manual trans. Engine, trans, radiator core support, vin all match (quarters have been replaced).
Mine is the top one you list - 897 - 383 4BBL, man, A/C, 330hp, Turquoise 1969
Thanks
