It is still important even if it's not a car but an airplane, because it very well could be.
It is about excessive fines and their abuse.
It is not a restricted topic here, because it affects everyone equally.

The forfeiture laws should be repeated. Gives police incentives to find crimes. Say you have a son selling drugs out of your house and you don't know it. Police raid your house and find drugs then start forfeiture proceedings, you need a ton of money to fight it. Women in a city had that happen, a lawyer helped her pro bono. He won she kept her house, doesn't happen often.

Howdy Agree forfeiture laws are abused too often. Which I believe is part of our "Cash Court" system.
