I have a 1974 charger with a 360. Street Demon 625 cfm Carb with Edelbrock spacer. Ever since I hooked my Demon carburetor, the throttle cable needs a bracket so it can be properly placed. I have tried a makeshift bracket from parts I had laying around and it finally went faulty today and need to get a real bracket. I believe my intake is from around 1989 motor because that is what my gooseneck fit for my thermostat. I would like to know any suggestions or ideas about a throttle bracket and what yall use? Any help would be appreciated.

Don't know if this will help.

Got a Lokar part # or a picture? There seem to be several Lokar throttle brackets. I may have to do this as well when I put a 4bbl carb and intake on my 318.

Is that a bracket you can buy or one you built yourself? I need one like that. Thanks Kevin

What is the part number?

If I'm not mistaken doesn't the kick down linkage share the throttle bracket also. Do you have your kick down hooked up still? I may have a spare org bracket I'll have to look threw my bracket bins . If I do you can have it just pay for the shipping witch will be like 5 bucks p.m. me and remind me to look tomorrow I have a bad memory. I'll take a pic of my 340 for you and 318 for reference pics

I don't know if this will help but i need the throttle bracket to be tall so it won't interfere with the carburetor linkage and moving parts.

Any pictures on a solution for the throttle cable and transmission kick down? I'm stuck in the same issue...318 with Demon 625 carb linkage problems.

Check out arengineering.com. Thats Andy Finkbeiner's company and he has a plethora of mounting brackets. Big time Mopar guy.

Thanks for the quick response. I used the Bouchillon Sanden AC compressor kit. It was good quality, but didn't fit per the poorly hand drawn diagram-instructions. These guys customer service was almost non-existent but decent products. I wish there was a way around spending $200 for a kick-down and accelerator cable. Thanks again.

I took a grinder and sliced the attachment legs off my bracket, then welded two spacers between the bracket and the legs to get it to the right height I needed. I used some 1/8" bar stock from Home Depot for the spacers and a $100 wire welder from Harbor Freight.
