I saw this post on reddit. What kind of moron would do something like this then post about it. Hopefully its just a joke. But here is the thread.

Exactly. Who would put an LS in anything.

I put an LS in a 68 Cutlass... But it was not my car and it already had an LS in it. Went from a 4.8 to a 5.7. I got paid so I didn't care lol.

Yep, nope, its just a joke, no photos of the van apart. Just a fool fooling around.

Yep! Pulla stunt like that and then post it on the internet. What could go wrong?

I understand that people did the same thing to Hertz’s Rent-A-Racecar program with the Shelby Mustangs in late 60s?

I once was told a story about a guy that needed brakes on his truck and the home depot trucks were the same. so he rented a truck and swaped out the brakes and returned the rental truck.

The same thing has been done with tires. Scumbags rent a similar vehicle to theirs and do a swap from car to car.

My buddy got the wrong mixing valve in his new shower bought a new one and packed the bad one up and returned it, then his diverter wasn't working bought a new one and put the bad one back in the box and returned it. I told him it's bad juju. I wouldn't do that, but it's just me. Also I was suprised he did. Took my thoughts about him down more than a few notches.

I know a guy that does that ****. I have always had a diminished opinion for him because of it.
There actually may be some truth to "karma" because this guy is always running into problems one way or another.

You would think they would be bright enough to tell a used part from a new.

If he really did it, he is a thief no different than any other thief and should get what he deserves.

"Thou shalt not steal"....signed, MOST HIGH GOD.

Why go to the Hot Place for switching one greasy GM engine for another? Or is Hell: the 4.8 ran well, but 10,000 miles later this one needs a timing chain (because someone else swapped their 6.0 for the van's original 6.0 already...LOL)

It would ruin my enjoyment of the truck every time you start it ....you"know"...like the Telltale Heart.
