Torque specs

Can anyone tell me what to torque the bolts on the crankshaft pulley for a 383? Thanks.

Hadn't considered a torque wrench on a crank pulley let alone a balancer bolt..my bad lol

If they snap off, the tq was too much....

It sounds like the OP needs a service manual. Snug with a 6" long 3/8 drive ratchet. I guess I'm old school. I torque head bolts, mains, and rods. That's about it. Everything else gets tightened down with a little common sense.

Agreed! Common sense is a very good torque value.
