I would like to take the 2” rake out of my 63 Dodge 330. I only have about 1” left on the torsion bar adjusters.
Is there a fix for this maybe like longer torsion bar adjusting bolts or a kit to lift it higher

Thanks in advance

What kind of springs and shocks are you running in the rear?

1" of bolt always seemed like a bunch of adjustment.

Moroso drag racing shocks. I assumed, maybe incorrectly, that I can only get 1" out of the adjustment and I'm look for about 2"

Make sure the rear torsion bar mounts are solid and not almost rusted through. I have seen one tear out on a rust belt car. Also make sure when you are adjusting, the weight is off of the front end. I think you will be able to get the lift desired. Good luck.

1 inch of adjustment will raise the car a bunch.

+1... 1" on the adjuster is considerably more on the ride height, since it's amplified across the length of the lower control arm.

you might be better to take the 2" out of the rear if you are looking to eliminate the rake... I think that's where hunt2elk was headed with asking what you have in the rear.

If you have SS springs out back, or it's lifted in some way... making the front 2" higher to match will probably look funny, and may start to cause you suspension geometry issues.

If the rears are stock height and your just trying to adjust back to a factory level setting you'll be fine.

I raised my Cordoba to eliminate the rake. I had my rear springs re-arched and along with the huge rear tires the rake was too much. Now my front is level but it drives terrible. It floats all over the road...I don't like it. I'm going with smaller rear tires.

Adjusted the front torsion bar and got the two inches in front that I wanted.

Thanks everyone for the help.
