Traffic Camera

If there were cameras on the poles at intersections back in the day in my town, we would all had been in jail by the end of the Summer for street racing. I do recall it being mentioned back then that the car would be impounded.
Then again it would make for good entertainment to watch these short clips on video of the way it was back in the late '70.

They are getting around red light camera arguments here by saying it's a civil code violation.

Silly as it sounds it seems to be holding up.

Just try to not sign or not accept an out of state ticket. See what happens.

...unless you are a lawyer or can afford one at $350/hr to fight a $150 ticket.

I’ve had a few camera tickets. Used to wait to be served before I paid them in Az. Now most cameras are gone.
Got one in Germany a few years ago going across an autobahn bridge with speed limit. Hertz sent it to me a couple months after. I paid it as visit there often.
I got one in a school zone driving my Porsche with sunglasses on, they use driver license photos in Az to ID the driver. Well, my kid got the ticket. Same address but their facial recognition failed. He was 17 and went to court and said I’m a high school kid and can’t afford a Porsche. Ticket got dismissed.
