Hi everyone!
Need a technical advise on situation. I`m building a `70 Plymouth Satellite 4 door. It has 225cid Slant 6 and 3-speed manual with 7 1/4 rear end. I bought 400 b block from 71 Charger without transmission. I also bought a Ford 8.8 rear end with 3.73 pair (from 2000 Ford Explorer) because it is almost impossible to find proper Mopar end here in Russia. The same story with transmissions, and here is the question: is there any modern Mopar transmission that will fit 400 b block and properly work up to 350 hp?

IIRC, the B block all but stopped being produced around 1978.

Any BB trans parts are nearly that old or are race parts.

Using a transmission adapter plate is about your only choice for using anything else besides a big block trans....
