I'm having trouble with my turn signes and a few other things Iv done the engine harness under dash harness and the tail lights harness. I realy don't know if anyone can help. Iv done so much. And hard for me to explane. I got my harness from year one I got most things pluged in I have brake light running lights all but turn sign or flashers. I put new flasher relay. Also my colum is new from norms Is there a ground to dash harness? Also the thingy that close to fuse box I can move wires and makes a clicking sound.

not sure why you are getting a clicky sound, first thing I would do is start over, lol.

Do you have a schematic?

I would first, shut all the lights and move that fuse box around, see if you are getting flashes anywhere with the clicky noises...

Start over done done that. Looks like most stuff is pluged in. I got the gauges pulled back. I got new colum from norms rebuilt. I took my old tun sitch pluged it in. Same thing

OK, so what is the actual problem?

Next, everything is plugged in? Do you have the column grounded to the dash (there is a little 6" long double loop ground wire that goes from one of the bracket mounting bolts to the dash) and the dash well grounded to the car (sometimes dashes are too well painted, lol), and the engine and chassis grounded to the battery? Never have too many grounds..

NEXT, did you put in both flashers? hazard and turn signal? what is not plugged in as of right now?

Schematic Ido. One is in the serv man. And one from classic car wiring Guess I'll just have to keep messing with it.

Grounds grounds grounds, you must have all the grounds in place and that clicking noise is not good either a loose wire shorting out or a loose connection causing voltage to activate a relay or component. Get a wiring diagram for your car at mymopar.com

So not sure what car you have but on my 69 RR power to the turn signals comes from an orange wire which is connected to the radio connector and other things and itis fed from a red wired from the fuse box. It feeds power to all the the turn lamps as you turn it it up and down or hit the e flasher. I have seen in the past that a steering column with no ground causes problems, I have also seen a bad e flasher cause problems.

I don't have a ground from colum to dash.does it need to go to dash where or gauge cluster ? Where should I have other grounds? Are they two flashers ? I don't think I got but one. Thing left plug on are console lights glove box ight door switches tack radio. Thanks for the help Becouse I'm in way over my heD on this wiring. I have a 70 gtx

Its a little ground wire maybe 6" long with a loop on each end, goes from the bolt on the bracket to the column to the bolt on the bracket to the dash....

BUT GROUNDS ARE YOUR FRIEND, run one from the colum to the dash, fron the dash to the chassis, from the dash to the cluster, to the radio, etc etc etc , its cheap insurance. BUT to diagnose a ground problem I run a cable from the neg battery terminal to the device giving me an issue, if its fixed after that , I know its a ground issue... (the power probe is great for this)...

good luck, I hate wiring issues, and road noise, and vibrations, and engine noise, and fuel issues, and trans issues, and ok so all issues, they all suck..

Most people look at the power side instead of the whole circuit
it must be complete and the ground is as important as the power side

Thanks guys. I found the other flasher. Happy days. It works. Now all lights work

Were your turn signals working before you added new harness? Reason I ask is I add new year one harness to my GTX and everything worked but my turn signals? I kept re-attaching multi plug unit that runs past column but still do not work. I have been suspecting flasher switch as previous owner had disconnected. When I re-connected, flasher turned on but did not blink and I had no turn signals. I'm going to try unhooking flashers and trying signals again...otherwise might be Year One wiring which is why I responded.

Try a new flasher relay put it all together like it is supposed to be with a new relay, you may have to try a couple these new ones are made cheap and come broke sometimes.

Rippin. My troubles was the flasher. The harness from year one. Had a flasher already with it. Just one flasher not two that needed. I don't no to yester day that it had two flashers. I had to tri 2 dif flashers one was bad (new) just as bigmanmopar said. I also added ground wires. Befor I started the turn signal worked but it was a mess someone had ran a jumper wire and some other BS. We have always had trouble with wire in car. The. A short burnt my barrenness reason I rewired. What about your wiring harness in steering colum ? Have you replaced it ?
