That should be a good deal for some one. Same engine as a 68 RR w/AC, 330 h.p.

Outwest seems to have all the deals.Good luck with sale

That is because we are dry desert states and the bodies suffer from little rot.

The interiors if left outside for any length of time suffer, but nearly anyone can rplace interior parts and nearly all are available.

With the cost of body and paint work it always makes me wonder what the back east guys are thinking when they say the shipping is too expensive. That cost is quickly doubled, tripled or more trying to save a local rust bucket. Being cheap always ends up costing more in the long run.

Hi Troy! Im very intrested at this car, do you know anything about this car?

You missed the part of my remark that said A/C car when you ordered a RR or SB with A/C you did not get the 335 h.p. but rather the 330 h.p.

Satellite

It's not my car, nor do I have any affiliation. I am just really good at locating old Mopar's. I'm going to try and go see the car in peron this weekend. It's not to far away and I will try to shoot some photos for those who are interested. Troy

Damn the mortgage payment! I am heading west....:tongueflap::tongueflap:No I am not.

Thanks for that info, had never heard of that before.

I spoke with the owner, very nice guy. The car is a 2bbl single exhaust car, from what he told me it has small spots of rust bubbling lower rear quarters, bubbling under the vinyl roof, and some rot along the rear window. There's evidence of past body repair in the quarters wherer the car was hit lightly. It also hestitates/sputters under acceleration. Seems like a solid car to start from, at a price that is basically fair to buyer and seller.

Here are the supplimentary pages that were sent to the dealers to be added to the Data book as the Super Bee was a late introduction after the Dodge dealers complained they needed a competing model to the great sucess of the 68 Roadrunner. These sheets spell out the engine availability and the 330 h.p. when you ordered with A/C. It was the same for 1969.

The A/C takes power from a less powered motor, thats fraud.

The factory made disclosure that the Super Bee did not get the Super Bee ENGINE when you ordered one with A/C.

The story is that they did not want you revving the engine to the higher red line of the Magnum engine with A/C because they were afraid the A/C compressor would not take it.

The two engines are the same with the exception of the cam, carb, windage tray, and possibly the exhaust manifolds. If some one has an original engine untouched example 68 SB or RR I would like to know if it has the hipo exhaust manifolds or the lo pos. I personally suspect that the manifolds on these cars are the HPs.

383-4s in B bodies are confusing. The only V.I.N. designation for it is "H" which is supposed to be an HP engine. However, there are TWO 383-4 engines. If you had a Coronet 500 or a Sport Satillite they would have the "H" engine digit in the V.I.N. The only way that you know it is a 330 h.p. rather than the 335 h.p. is by determining the model of the car is in combination with the engine digit.

This has been a source of confusion throughout the Mopar hobby for years.

Sounds resonable

Car is now for sale again hes asking $12.000 must be the same car still NV

Coronet

I think he sold it, and the new owner is trying to flip it for profit. He listed out of the area in Sacramento.

The car is still in my town... Troy

Yah its the new owner, now listed as second owner car, found it at moparts.com, $12.000 is a big amount of money, doubt anyone pay that in these economic times, maybe its sold tomorrow.
