True or not true?

I can't wait, lol...

I know my father "DONT GIVE A SH!T", lol. although when he was younger I dont remember him ever holding his tongue, now its even worse. I have him on the payroll, just to send him to deal with dem, deep, local inspectors, etc... Years ago, I was about 30 at the time, I was having issues with wetlands and DEM (dept of environmental management) in R I, the maps I had- showed wetlands 300feet from where this ancient greek map they dug up showed, lol. I had one dated 2010 they had one dated 1982!!! So anyway, it was on track to cost me hundreds of thousands of dollars, it was going to cut my development from 16 units to 13. I was going to go to the state, when my father took the plans, went down to the office, and waited for the official I was dealing with to come into work...

He argued the points and came back with 16 plots!!! I couldn't believe it, but Ill never forget my father saying "No one wants to hear what you have to say, live another 20 years then they will start to listen" I replied "I'll be done talking by then", and again, the ole bastid got me he said " I hope so"....

My Dad was like that too...knew every damn body...and they knew him. He would talk you out of yer socks on a cold day.

I'm 72, don't know what you are talking about.

I've come to the conclusion that the older you get....
what was the question?

It's true!

This is a simple concept that I have been working on for most of my
life. I am delighted to say that I believe I have refined it
sufficiently to share it with a select band of friends that may
Appreciate the elegance and simplicity.

I dont give a **** now, so I wonder how it will be in 30 years...

That reminds me of my Minnesota relatives, who have a nice cabin on a lake outside Duluth. They have a very nice sauna, which they make good use of year round. They'll chop a nice-size hole in the ice, do their sauna time, jump in the friggin' water(!) and go back in the sauna. No, they're not like normal people who jump in a snowbank, nosiree! And they have all lived to see 90 years and beyond!
