I ran into an issue with the PST tubular UCA's fitting my 69 Roadrunner. They just didn't fit into the mounting slots for some reason. The stock UCA's fit fine so i'm sure it was an issue with the aftermarket ones. Does anyone have any suggestions on tubular UCA's that fit a 69 B body?

Firm Feel, QA1, Magnum Force, or Just Suspension.

The mounting slots could be bent inwardly slightly. see if you can bend them outward a bit and then try the UCAs again. Think I had a similar issue when mounting the QA1 UCAs on my '69 Bee.

Thanks guys. The PST ones wouldn't come close to fitting unless i ground off the majority of the mounting surfaces. I spoke to QA1 and their UCA's have a different sized mount width. I'm gonna try them out and see if it solves it. Thanks for the support per usual, this really is a great forum and knowledge base!

What did PST say? Mine fit no problem. Back in early 2000 from PST. Things change though.

If they don't fit, methinks it's due to your car. Garage mules have been known to bend the flanges.

Sounds like you may have an issue with the mounting flanges, overtime and after multiple alignments and re tightening of the cam bolt. The ears of the flanges can bend/ collapse in as the bushings wear out and the cam bolt are tighten.

We have sold a number of those tubular arm with no issues and they are made is the USA.

Thanks
James

I discussed the possibility of the flanges being bent or off due to years of adjustments. The issue still remained on the outer mounting surface as well as the flanges. Both sides were the same way, the stock ones fit fine with new bushings. PST was very good about everything, i just wasn't comfortable grinding off the amount of material needed to get them to fit, it would be a lot. I'll check on some other sources and see what i end up with. Thanks guys!

Thanks James, PST has always been helpful and i appreciate you replying to my post. Hopefully i can find a solution and report back.

Update, i ordered some QA1 UCA's and they fit without any issues or adjustment of the flanges. Thanks for the suggestions everyone, much appreciated.
