Tunnel Ram Hood Clearence

Anybody know about the clearance with the hood when using a tunnel ram on a 71 charger. I'll be putting an insert into the hood, just would like to figure out if I can put the tunnel ram on. I am building a VERY FAR from budget 408 and converting to a 5 speed manual, so I would really really like a tunnel ram!! Thanks in advance. If anybody could post some pics that would be greatly appreciated!!

Don't understand "putting an insert into the hood" and are you asking about clearance around the manifold and carbs to open it or top of carb to inside of scoop for air flow.

top of carbs to inside the scoop, I hate the burn notice looking scoops, but I dont think Im gonna have a choice. Any help with two four barrels on top of tunnel ram on stock SE hood clearence, how much would be thought to cut out or what kind of scoops are options. I have never cut a hood or tried to fit a big *** tunnel ram under one either. Any help is very much appreciated.
