69 Roadrunner, the left rear signal quit working. We tapped into the left turn signal wire coming from under the dash and hooked it to the wire going back to the left turn signal. Now when you put on the brakes the left dash T/S indicator lite comes on, as well as the front turn signal . But the left rear signal does work now. I keep thinking it is the switch. Any ideas? Thanks

LMAO you rigged it and now its worse that **** is funny lol

Its the turn signal cam in the steering wheel is where the problem is, its either broken or the brass points on contact are separated or worn real bad. lol undo all that monkey business and check the TS cam.

new switches are available most anywhere and are not all that expensive

Also sounds like you have ground issues where the light socket is attached to the lamp base. Bad grounds cause back feed and will light up the dash indicator because its looking for a ground. Typical old car stuff.
