Hi All, I have a 1966 Coronet and just Put a re-conditioned Steering column in Her and a Brand new Turn signal switch I got from Jegs, If I advance The turn signal lever to right hand turn or left hand turn it does not come back when I turn the wheel back, Now I have made sure the pin is sticking out far enough, My question and Please I'm not stupid, But my Question is does the car need to be moving in order for the delete to work? This is my second "New" switch and I am lost, I'm super pumped as I have a stroked out 440 (504) in Her and a 373:1 Auburn rear gear, So it is going to scoot, If You can help out a newby Mopar enthusiast It would be much appreciated, Thanks in advance, Mike aka Bull.

The car does not have to be moving for the cancel to work. Make sure the metal post thingy on the bottom of the wheel is in the correct position to trip the plastic cancel part of the switch.

The aftermarket turn signal switches are known to be junk. It could be a junk switch.

There is a for sale ad NOS them, don't know if he has the one you need. $$$

How about heading over to the welcome wagon and introduce yourself and post some pics of your car.
