Turn signals

Right turn signal works great...left lights all work but won't blink. All worked five days ago when I last drove. Only things done since parking were adding of volt meter and moving tach to steering column. Could the problem be caused by tightness of hose clamp on the steering column?? It's on the tapered part of the column.

Sounds like something may be shorting or a bad ground possibly. I would work my way backwards on the modifications you mentioned (tach relocation and voltmeter addition) until it's functioning normally again. You should be able to isolate the issue from there.
