Here are two Race Prepared 426 Industrial Blocks out of Gregg Luneauk's (RIP)
TriCity Performance Engine shop. He is the builder and racer of many of the best
Stock and SS Race Cars in this part of the country. He is the builder of most of my
Race engines the last 20 or more years and my close friend.
Engine #1 is a 060 Freshly bored with deck plate and Hot water.
It has Bronze bushed lifter bores.
It is deck corrected.
It was out of Bob Mazzolini's Max Wedge racecar..
Engine #2 is a 030 Freshly Bored with deck plate and Hot Water circulated.
It is bronze bushed lifter bores
It is deck corrected.
This one has studded Mains.
It was out of Bob Elliot's (RIP) 64 Dodge Polara.
Both these are the rare and sought after 426 Industrial Blocks cast in
the later 70's. We routinely bore them 070 for stock and 090 for SS
racing and they Sonic test way better than the original 426 blocks. These
are what I always have run in my Max Wedge racecars.
Your choice for $1,500.00 OR Take them both for $2,500.00
I will deliver to So Cal or So Nevada for free OR I will pallet them and
take them to a shipper for free.
This is all I know about these engines, and I cannot ask Gregg.
I acquired all his parts from his Widow after his passing. If they
were my personal engines they would be double this money.
All I can tell you is what I can see and what Gregg wrote on them.
The machine work alone would be twice this amount!!
#1 Engine (060)
Minor scrape in 060 Mazzolini engine that I do not think would affect ring seal at all. I think something drug across
as we had a couple of hours to load 5000 ft. shop into the trucks and trailers. A light finish hone for your ring combo
might well remove it.
