I have a '69 Coronet R/T, 440/Hemi 4 speed, 3.54 Dana. It has Super Stock springs, soon to get a tall, sticky tire on it, and more than a little abuse. I put new u-joints in it when I put the driveshaft in it, and used the greasable ones. After I did, someone told me in a 4 speed car you ALWAYS run solid u-joints. True? Any thoughts, opinions, comments or experiances?
Thanks all...

Thanks. Luckily the shaft/tranny have to come back out anyway, for new gaskets, so I won't be wasting wrench time changing them!

And it's a good idea to put the other kind on with the grease fitting in compression....
