I HAVE A 440 WITH DUAL EDELBROCK CARBS AND MANIFOLHAVE CLEARANCE. I WANT TO PUT STACKS ON BUT THE ONES I FIND ARE ABOUT 81/2 IN, IN DIAMETER SO THEY WILL NOT FIT SIDE BY SIDE. I CAN GET A RISER FOR THE REAR CARB TO ELEVATE IT SO I CAN GET CLEARANCE. DO BOTH STACKS HAVE TO BE THE SAME HEIGHT OR CAN I ELEVATE ONE WITHOUT LOOKING STUPID?

Why not cut them. Cut them so they butt between the carbs. So they look like 8 with two cut areas butting. RC may comment on butts.
