This is on a 1963 b-body , how to disassemble the bottom part of vent wing pivot assembly , have latch off . Going to replace with new chrome pivot bottom assembly. Seen somewhere how it is done and search everywhere can't find it . Thanks

I will start by saying I’m a 68-70 guy so Im probably not completely correct but here goes:lol:
To remove the vent window from the frame you probably will need the whole assembly removed from the door. There’s tension clamp held closed by a small phillips head screw you may be able to get to it from the inside of the door I don’t think but not certain that the early vent pivot post had the roll pin.

Already past all that , need info on how to remove glass from pivot assembly on bottom , already got wing assembly out of car.

Pivot is attached to the glass with glass setting tape. To remove use some soapy water and a small block of wood and a rubber mallet to tap it off the glass.
you will need new glass setting tape and soapy water to install the glass in the new pivot assembly.

63 doesn't have bedding tape on bottom of vent window , got it apart , figure it out ,62-65 b body has two bottom pieces that sandwiches the glass with gaskets on each side , there are two screws that hold it together at the bottom, the trouble i was having problems with was the screw set up that the latch knob slides onto , it was rusted up and wouldn't break loose.
