Verification Assistance for eBay purchase

Thanks for letting me join. I have began the process of purchasing a 1970 Road Runner thru eBay, the car is located about 20 minutes from Fresno, California AIRPORT. I am inquiring if an of the members here are within a reasonable distance of the car and would be willing to put eyes on it for me? If not, is there an organization in that area that would provide a service like this?

im not close , but many horror stories about folks buying cars basically sight unseen. I would definitely make sure you get someone over there to go over it thoroughly before paying for it.

I'm too far south in ca. But would also recommend you do what you're doing. There are plenty of members on the site that are up that way. I'd do it for you if I was closer. Hopefully someone will pony up for a budding brethren.

What I've done in the past....I have a friend who is an Allstate Agent. As you know they have offices all over the country and a lot of agents know each other. The last car I bought he contacted the agent in the town the car was located and he was just few blocks from where the car was at. It worked for me maybe it would work for others as well.
