i was introduced to Mopars by a racer with a '63 ply when i was about 14 years old. i was into drag racing at an early age by my brother. i used to walk by a guys house on the way to school and he had a bad looking s/s sitting on his front yard. it was called the frog with graphics. as it happened, on a friday night on my way home from school, he was working on it. i stopped to watch and he asked "if i was going to lions on sat". i said "i didn't have any money and he said be at his house and he would get me in". needless to say, i was there before sun up. this car had one bucket seat and a roll bar and not much else in the way of creature comfort. now for the details, the motor was a 426 wedge with the cross ram and a 4 speed. let me tell you about the ride. at every stop he would pull the front off the ground and throw me all around while holding onto the roll bar. i felt like a monkey in a tree and loving every minute of it. anyway, had a great time and the ride back was just as memorable. i always said, if i could, i would have me a '63 Plymouth some day. well i got one, but that's another story. anywho, i build stuff for fun and profit, a lot of the first, very little of the second. i am a retired aerospace engineer and all around fabricator.
p.s. i also have a '66 dart i am going to make an altered wheel base funny car out of someday.
