Unfortunately, we banged the nose of LemonWedge up pretty badly. I’m in need of all new front sheetmetal, and I’m not finding a lot of options for a 1-year only 67 front end.
I’m considering going fiberglass, but am unsure of the fit, finish, and look they might offer. I want the car to appear as a nice, straight musclecar. But at the same time, it is a racecar first and foremost.
Has anyone here had experience working with fiberglass body panels? Or even just being around a car with fiberglass panels? Not so much hoods, we all know a little about that. I’m looking for opinions on fixed body panels.
How have you found the fit and alignment?
How much work did they take to finish?
Once finished, can they mimic stock parts?
Thanks in advance for any input here.
