Unfortunately, we banged the nose of LemonWedge up pretty badly. I’m in need of all new front sheetmetal, and I’m not finding a lot of options for a 1-year only 67 front end.
I’m considering going fiberglass, but am unsure of the fit, finish, and look they might offer. I want the car to appear as a nice, straight musclecar. But at the same time, it is a racecar first and foremost.
Has anyone here had experience working with fiberglass body panels? Or even just being around a car with fiberglass panels? Not so much hoods, we all know a little about that. I’m looking for opinions on fixed body panels.
How have you found the fit and alignment?
How much work did they take to finish?
Once finished, can they mimic stock parts?

Thanks in advance for any input here.

If the Glassman is still active here, I'd think he is a good person to ask. Im sure you already know, 66-67 seem to be the least popular style for fiberglass.

I think your closest fit and look will be with AAR Stinger fiberglass. They make amazing stuff and the fit is near perfect. They have both race weight and street pieces, but not sure how far their catalog goes as far as in providing panels for the '67's. Beautiful car by the way.

Every brand needs some fit and finish to make perfect, but with enough work you can repaint it all to match an no one will be able to tell it glass, unless it's running and you can tell by the shake or unless they knock on it.

There was a local guy here who had a '71 Challenger with a complete fiberglass nose, hood and all. No one knew it was a glass nose for some time until someone in his own circle leaked it. He even fooled my prying eyes because they looked totally stock steel.
Must have removed a good chunk of fat off the front end. Those E's are heavy for their size.
