Looking for the right 72 Charger Rallye. I have a 72 Charger Rallye to trade. I have owned a lot of Mopars and know 72 Charger Rallyes very well. I know what I'm looking for and what I'm looking at.
I know what some of you are thinking: "You already have one, why are you looking for another one??" Real simple, this is not the one I want to keep. I like my Mopars true to original, and I am not willing to change this one. I'd rather someone who would appreciate it have this one.
What I have: 1972 Charger Rallye, 340 Magnum (number matching), 727 automatic column shift. PS and Power disc brakes. Running and driving well. Original orange car (V2) with black bench interior and black vinyl roof. Rallye taillights and (correct 1972) Bulge Hood are present. Have Fender Tag, no Build Sheet. Rallye doors were sold 25 years ago, has flat doors (trying to locate a set). Car was painted some time ago, but still decent. Rear quarters have filler and there is some rust under the vinyl roof. Trunk floor, floorboards and frame rails are excellent. 8 3/4 rearend with swaybar.
What I want: 1972 Charger Rallye. Not interested in clones, regular Chargers, "Toppers", SE's, 1971's or 1973/4 Chargers (at this time!). I want a car in similar running/driving condition. No projects (but will consider parts cars). Will consider any engine size (318, 340, 400, 440, 440+6). Will consider ANY colour! Will consider any interior, except blue (sorry!). Prefer automatic, but may consider a standard. Located in Western Canada, but will consider cars anywhere. Let me know what your have, and let's talk!
