Hi I just joined For B Bodies Only I'm starting the restoration of a 72 Satellite Sebring and I'm looking for a good trunk deck-lid any help anyone could give would be greatly appreciated.
Going to inventory a 20 yr. old warehouse stash I'm selling for a friend on Sat. Been there once and saw 4 or 5 3rd. gen deck lids. All the sheetmetal I looked at so far was very nice with no issues. What yrs. and/or makes interchange??
Thank you for the reply. I picked one up yesterday so I no longer need the deck-lid but I am still looking for a drivers door and front fenders for a 2-door 72 Satellite Sebring if you see any of those in good shape. Mine have rust holes about first size in the bottom of them.
To answer your question in case anyone else contacts you about them the deck-lids from 71 to 74 will interchange. There is one difference the lock on the 71/72's was smaller and held on by a u clip. The 73/74 have a bigger lock held on by a nut so if they would get one of those they would also need the correct lock for it.
