Just so you know, Memorial Day is to honor those who fell in battle. Veterans Day is the day to thank all the rest of us who managed not to get ourselves dead either at the hands of the enemy or our own foolishness.

Just so you know, Memorial Day is to honor those who fell in battle. Veterans Day is the day to thank all the rest of us who managed not to get ourselves dead either at the hands of the enemy or our own foolishness.
This may be True ! BUT I think we should Honer all af them 365 day a year !! If not for those who died and lived to serve we would NOT have our way of life that Alot of people take for granted !! Just my 2,C but I stand Hard by it !!

A big thank you too all who serve and have served their country. There is no higher honer in my opinion! I wish I could have!
I tried in 1976 to join every branch starting with the Navy but due to flat feet and nearsightedness no one would take me. That broke my heart for a very long time. I tried then to be a policeman but due to the sever nearsightedness I could not get on any force. I ended up finding a way to help serve and protect by installing and servicing security and surveillance systems for 33 years.

God bless those who gave their lives so that we can live in freedom. And as a veteran, I'm very proud of our military and the men and women who volunteer for service to our country. The best way that you can honor our active duty military and veterans is to support organizations that serve their needs such as the Wounded Warrior Project, The USO, and many other fine organizations for soldiers and vets. Thank you.

Thanks to our "Brothers " who gave the Ultimate sacrifice and those who served to the left and right of us.

And that's fine, but keep in mind a lot of us Vets feel like we're being given credit for something we didn't do when we're thanked on Memorial Day. The focus of Memorial Day should always be on the fallen, and just the fallen. The rest of us have Veterans Day as our day.
