Okay, you are given twenty-five thousand dollars and you have to spend it on a vehicle or vehicles.

I tend to buy old cars and a crap box, a daily driver. It doesn't have to be a B Body or even a Mopar. At $25K you can get a kinda nice classic or a kinda new muscle car.

I might go for a cheap 1971 Dodge Demon or I've even seen crappy 'Cudas at this price point.

What's your purchase?

A viper engine and trans, to put in my 33 imperial sedan, along with a dana 60. The imp has a straight eight in it, so i know the v10 fits.

I wouldn’t mind having my old Demon back, but I doubt 25K would by it today. Orange/Orange with torqueflite in console with a/c.

There would be plenty of options.

- 1970 Dodge Coronet
- 1972 plymouth fury unmarked police car with a 440 pursuit engine (Probably my favourite and cheaper than 25k)
- 1969-1971 Imperial Lebaron Sedan
- 1961 Dodge Polara Sedan with 413
- 1980 Pontiac Trans Am Turbo Targa WS6
- 1990 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1

I would start with a lift and a nice Grizzly blast cabinet and use those tools and the remaining cash on my Chargers.

I'd buy the first good deal to come along, flip it, and put the cash on red. Easy come, easy go.... or maybe I end up with enough to buy a new loaded truck.

25k to invest in an alcoholic dairy queen. Strawberry Sundae's with Strawberry Schnapps on top:D. Of course location is very important here. For a car, I too would be looking for a nice

Well you saw this in the "for sale" area for $30k. That's close to $25k. I thought that was a great car for the money. Too bad it wasn't me who bought it.

I've always had a thing for the Rambler Scrambler. You should be able to get this done for 25K for a very nice car. Hey Chrysler Corporation bought AMC so does that make this a MOPAR?

Looks like I am sniffing glue about being able to buy one for $25 grand. Here's what Hagerty says:

Current Values
  • #1 Concours $99,100
Condition #1 vehicles are the best in the world. The visual image is of the best vehicle, in the right colors, driving onto the lawn at the finest concours. Perfectly clean, the vehicle has been groomed down to the tire treads. Painted and chromed surfaces are mirror-like. Dust and dirt are banned, and materials used are correct and superbly fitted. The one word description for #1 vehicles is "concours."
  • #2 Excellent $74,300
  • #3 Good $58,200
  • #4 Fair $39,100

However the one in the ad where I took the photo was $29,900 (but with a 360 rather than a 390)
