Funny ya mentioned this, buddy of mine from Army (recently retired) usedto train "Barbed Wire Rigging" during basic at Ft.Knox around 1999.. I think he was associated with A and A Fence. Not sure of where they were located out of, but yep Ive heard similar "Thoughts".
This "course" was typically tought pre 9/11 as a Just In Case need for a POW camp. Ironically we could use Sundays if not going to church to learn Arabic. Although personally christian, I thought the 3rd language would be interesting. Funny how 2 years later that language class would be needed..
