Not one to waltz around banging my own drum, but I got something pretty neat in the mail today. An Award?
Last August I took my freshly restored rust bucket for a ride to go visit a car show over in Green Bay. I'm not the kind of fella to enter my cars in car shows, but it was hot (low 90's), and I figured Heck, I'll pay the $5 Bucks, won't have to walk 4 blocks and have a nice oasis in the shade next to the River. We'll, I didn't stick around all day. Entered the car in the some mod class, walked around a few hours, chit-chatted and hit the road.
Well....to my surprise this showed up today:

I know there were plenty in my class (a lot of GM) and a lot of Club buddies, but I didn't care because I didn't go to win anything anyways.
Anyways, thought I would share. Makes a guy feel pretty good after a few years of chewing on rust, burning holes through your cloths and spending endless nights dumping down coffee, living on a few hours of sleep. My old rusty Plymouth has a plaque.......how bout that.

Bring on the spring!
