As im sure you checked behind your back seat- I found this argument about the subject funny
Dont forget to look under all the carpet as well as the seats and under the dash.

They kept some records soo..

Contacting the Chrysler Historical Collection
Send a letter requesting your Build Record to:

DaimlerChrysler
Corporate Historical Collection
One Chrysler Drive
CIMS 488-00-00
Auburn Hills, MI 48326
Attn: Historical Information

Be sure to include the VIN of the car in question, a self-addressed stamped envelope and a check made payable to Chrysler Corporation. If your build record is not on file, they will return your check. As of April 2002, the cost is $45 per VIN requested. In a week or so you will have a valuable piece of your car's documentation.

So if you get a build record, can you then get a new fender tag? Problem is my Roadrunner does not have the original motor, so it will never be a numbers car.

No this is stritly documentation for what was once org. on your car- but im not 100 % sure you should email them
