At least here in Mexico, the price of a gallon of milk and a gallon of gasoline have pretty much been exactly the same (and with time, always creeping up higher and higher). Hovering around $5.00 USD at the moment.

Looks like price is the only thing that's common. Can't burn milk in your car and can't drink gasoline.....
 
Milk and 87 gasoline, same price within a penny at my local membership store in california . $4.13/4.14
Diesel exactly a buck and a half higher in cal than my area in az, $4 85 (these are the BEST prices I could find.). Milk and gas only $1.40 higher. (I understand why california gas is so much higher..... but why milk?)
