Looking to put my motor on an engine cradle until it's ready to go in. 69 - 440 rebuilt and ready (though the guy put the wrong paint color on it so I need to repaint it).

Thoughts on this one? Will it fit?
Suggestions / recommendations?

I bought one from Jegs I think to transport my engine. I think it was 69-79$

Seems good.
Which one did you get? Bright yellow or black?
I'll go black probably. It's all-star, I think the yellow may be their brand.

Black one. Fit good and held up fine for a 1300 mile road trip.

So what's wrong with the Princess Auto one? Check the question section out. One asked if it would work on a 440. It's a givven.

I've been thinking about putting mine on this for paint also. Can't see no reason why not. I don't think i could make one for that since I have no scrap laying around.

Those are garbage.... dont waste your money, unless you plan to alter it anyway cuz a full motor will fall over forward!!!

The Mancini one, that nostrt980 posted above is THE unit to get, hands down. Its worth the extra cash for the rollers alone. Same one is $155 from AR Engineering, and i think they are the ones making them.....

You can purchase the Wheel Kits for the Allstar 10156 BB Mopar Heavy Duty Engine Cradle under Part #:
Allstar 10164 for regular NON-Locking 3" Casters
or
Allstar 10165 for the Locking 3" Casters

WE use/re-use them all the time around the Shop here, some have been around here for many years.....Customers also Buy them for their BB Mopar Engines from us after their Dyno session for easy transport..... we've never had a problem, never had a complaint.

I don't make motor dollys anymore. I gave the design to US Car Tool and they modified it for a different look. Mancini most likely buys them from US Car Tool.

I have been making transmission dollys lately. Sure makes it easier to wheel a fully loaded 727 around the shop.
