Hello All,
Some where in the history of my 66 Coronet someone added disk brakes and I want to change the pads for something with better grip then the stock type but I can't figure out what they are. I ordered D84's but they didn't match. The D269's are quite a bit larger. Any Idea? Thanks for any help and also any advice on a good replacement pad would be great.
Happy Motoring,
Wayne

your local parts store should have a picture book with dimensions to make it easy to find them

I thought so too that they were the 73 up a body which would be

a D84 but when I ordered them (pn on box is correct D84) I got these:

I know the wear indicator wire is for a later model so that's not a concern.

You need D84 pads, you were sent something else. I have disk brakes on my 65 Fury from a 73 Dodge Monaco, and I use the same ones, D84 (actually MX84-semi metallic). There are two styles if you look them up, one is the "pin style" D39 pads.
The other is the ones like your pictures (slider style) and they are D84 pads. I think those style calipers were used on a lot of various Mopars in the 73-74+ time frame (A, B, and C bodies)
(FYI, It looks like there is a D840 on the new pads you pictured.)
