Hi Everyone !
I have a question for you guys, what studs do I need to mount six pack carbs to the intake ? I want studs instead of bolts so if I have to remove carbs to adjust them I won't strip out the threads in the intake....can you guys help me find the correct set? this is for my 72 satellite/RR clone with a 440 in it.

thanks !

Chuck

A little anti-sieze and you won't have to worry about stripped bolts. Actually, if the threads are clean and in good shape, you shouldn't have any issues without anti-sieze.

Basic auto parts store carburetor studs work just fine. They're usually in the "shiny chrome race stuff" section.

And a word of advice, don't use washers !

Curious, why?

Chrysler "never" used washers on carburetor studs or bolts, over time they can work loose,an extra contact surface you don't need.

I use washers on my x ram Holleys. Silly to put washers but never had a problem. They come off at least once a year, spring to check torque on bolts. Don't want bolts rolling around in pelenum chamber.
