of the rear sway bar to the frame? This is on a 74 Charger. Are they self tapping? There are no holes there now because I am adding the rear sway bar to the car. What dia., length and would they be a grade 5 or greater? Thanks

Yes 4 short (about 1" total length) self tapping for each bracket. I think they are 5/16" or 3/8" and don't know what grade.

I have a set of em at home, I'll attempt to find them tomorrow and post back.

just to be clear, it for these pictured right?

I did not have much time last night and couldn't find them initially... I'll look a little harder after work tonight as I know I have the original ones around somewhere.

The holes are 3/8" exactly on the mounting brackets so I'm pretty sure the self tappers are 5/16" but like I said will look harder tonight

I'm thinking I've seen the 'targets' on the frame rails on an E body before. You might clean the rails and see if there's anything there.....

Are you sure the holes are not there? Have yet to see a ’72 and up b-body without pre-stamped holes in the sub-frame for those brackets.

I know on E body cars, they were not pre-stamped and that's why self taping screws were used. Very few cars got the rear sway bar back then but seems like I remember seeing the the targets or dimples for where the screws went....

Sorry I never had a chance to look again, haven’t been home.
Busy time of year.

The pictured tap bolts look to be them in 72RrGTX’s post
