I am planning on purchasing a set of 15x7 3.760 backspacing wheels, I'm not totally sure on the tire yet. I'm thinking something like a 235/65/r15 would look nice. I'm looking for some input mainly on if the backspacing and tire setup will work and what tires I should be running. Thank you.

You should be able to get a 275/60/15 tire in the back on a 15x8 wheel with 5 inch backspace

I have a 69 Coronet Sedan. I'm running the exact tire you mentioned above. Unfortunately I don't know the backspacing as I bought the car with them on it. I recently created a post wanting to go bigger. Looks like with a 5.5 backspace, I can possibly get a 315 back there.

15"X8" 245-60/15 with 4" backspacing
About as wide as will fit.

When I bought my car it had 15x7 rims but with this same size tire on it. And Now has Diamondback Redlines on it in same size.
And I can easily fit and will get a 255-60-15 under the back of it when I buy tires again. But my car sits up just a tad more than yours does

My redlines are a Mastercraft carcass tire and are just a tad smaller in section and tread width than the BFGs were.
