Truth be told, my wife puts up with a lot from me. I have gone from playing with British cars, British bikes, bobbers, Harleys, now my Indian Chief. Old speedboats (I have built a 6, sold 4...).
Currently we have 3 boats, two Subarus, one Ford van, a 15 Indian, a 73 MGB, I play the bass guitar, have 6 of 'em and three amps along with two six strings, and now my 64 Polara.
When I decided I wanted my high school dream of a hot rod, she was a little edgy. She rode with me 1200 miles round trip to pick it up and I could tell she was not terribly happy....

I took her with me to get it registered and spent another $1200 on state taxes...not helping my cause much. On the way home, I pulled in to the Lowes parking lot out to the far end, powerbraked the car, smoked the hides and went just a little sideways.

Gotta love 'em. I told my wife "You know, if we just had one car and the old truck, we would save a fortune on insurance,registration and maintaining. " Her reply "What fun is that ? " 5 cars,2 motorcycles,motor home and a pickup. Like I said "Gotta love 'em."

It just a driver I bought for my daughters high school car. She thought it was cool until the third time it left her sitting. Then I inherited it. That was 25 years ago. She thinks its cool again...
