The Road Runner has its cartoon character, the Ford Mustang has its horse. I was wondering if Chrysler Plymouth ever included the image of an actual satellite in any of their fender or dash logos, or even in promotional material or advertisements?

People keep asking me why my car is called a Satellite. Is there a reason for that ? Or I need a good B.S. story to give them for that name..............MO

Because it flies circles around them! All the answer you need.

Make up a good story / no one is going to know the difference ... lol Plenty if cars have named that don’t compute.

I'm guessing that the name was meant to play off of the push to get man into space and to the moon (space race).
