Just brought home a 1972 Satellite but don't know if it is a Satellite, a Sebring, or Sebring plus. One of the previous owners painted it blue and installed a blue interior. Factory color was GY9 Dark Gold Metallic. It had H6Y3/C56 bucket seats (blue now, previously light gold), V4X black canopy roof (now missing), M33 body side moldings (now missing) and a C16 slap stick shifter and E44 318 motor, D34 Torqueflite, B41/B51 power disc brakes, and power steering (no fender code). Inside on the dash above the glove box the logo just says "Satellite". Whoever did the repaint in blue removed permanently all of the Plymouth and Satellilte identifying logos (that were originally on trunk lid and I don't know where else exactly). Can anyone tell me how to determine the exact model I have? Thank you. Oh, it has a rallye instrument panel but I don't see a fender code for that either.

Vin number
RL23 Satellite
RM23 Road Runner
RH23 Sebring
RP23 Satellite Sebring Plus

Sounds like it is a Sebring Plus

Thank you, that was easy and based on the VIN you must be correct. Now to put it all back together!
