Hypothetical question. If you had to choose one (and it's free) Would you take a 1969 Charger R/t Hemi 4 speed or a 1969 Daytona 440 auto.

Both would be in nice condition but not concours

The Charger. Value for Chargers are increasing faster than Daytona. But really? You had me at Hemi 4-speed!

Tough choice, obviously a Daytona hemi 4 spd would be the pick, but that's not an option.

I'd go the hemi 4 spd Charger I think.

Both... Tough to choose, both are great options... Make it a 68 Hemi Charger in either EE1 or BB1

Gimme da Charger - lemme know when it will arrive.

The Charger. That year Daytona hasn't got a snowball's chance of fitting in my garage!:(

Daytona, you would have one of 503.
Only 207 Charger R/T hemi 4-speeds were made? Besides, automatics should have been outlawed to all muscle car models in the muscle car era. (64-71) Or at least sold with matching colored panties? (Funny how it got mean even when free? Lol)

Hemi 4-speed Charger. My Superbird satisfied my Wing Car desires.

Personally I would still want the Daytona

no particular reason. Lol

Well – I’m a 4 speed fan all the way; only thing is my long infatuation with the rock solid 727 push button trans (ended in 1964). Two legendary Dodge/Plymouth drag racers of the era preferred the buttons…one had the ’64 setup installed in his ’65 Plymouth to hang on to it another year. If I didn’t have this, no way I would have an auto. I’m still pondering on the possibility of another ride that would have to be a stick…

I would take the Hemi 4 speed Charger R/T.
Then I would drive it like it was meant to be driven.
Lots of fun!

Hemi 4 speed for me!

So the second owner of Max let me scan the pictures he took when he brought Max home in 1976. There's a picture of the girl that became his wife and in the background is his AAR 'Cuda. So which would I rather have? Um, AAR 'Cuda or Max Wedge, AAR or Max? I think I would still pick the Max but, um, OH I dunno!
