While removing my carb this washer dropped in here.

So I’m removing my tranny kick down linkage from the carb and I accidentally dropped a small washer (no larger than a dime) down into what I believe is part of the carb heat. What a fool!!! Is it ok, or must I remove? Can’t see it and no magnet help either.

Leave it if you can't get it. That is just a heat passage. It goes nowhere.

You may get it out with a blast of compressed air.

If you try this, make sure your intake ports are covered. Just trying to help you not double your trouble.

Chrysler put that opening there to catch those small washers. It’s happened to all of us. Now I put a rag over that area when working on the linkage. Leave it, it’s ok.

I have always been able to get it out with a magnet
I use a screw starter that has a magnet on the one end
