Will the bulge hood from a 73-74 satellite fit my 73 charger?

I found a bulge hood for a good price, it is off a 73-74 satellite, I haven't gone and looked at it yet so im not for sure which year but will it fit on my 73 SE?

Hi Zach,

Don't hold me to this, but I think the hoods are the same overall size, meaning I believe the hood will physically fit.

Even if that is true, I still don't suggest you do it, as the body lines are different and these extend on to the hoods. Look at some pictures of 73 Road Runners vs. 73 Chargers and you will see what I mean...

The main issue is that Satellites have a bolted in header panel between the hood and the grille.

Chargers do not- the hood goes all the way to the bumper, and is almost a foot longer.

It DOES suck that Roadrunner/GTX hoods are nearly 1/2 the cost of Charger rallye hoods, though, doesn't it?
