Winch Adapter for 4 post lifts with 2"x4" and 2.50"x5" cross members

The one I got was made by Advantage Lifts/Backyard Buddy, it's a new product and assembled perfectly, I added some pics.

All the compatible winches ae on the page as well. I went with an APEX BADLAND 5500 long drum ($259 on sale, good reviews) 100 foot of synthetic cable) and bought the APEX wireless remote ($39 on sale) that works with it. I work alone and no one is readily able to assist me, so I'm making the lift old guy ready.

I need to get me that. I work alone as well. I once had to use a come along to pull a non-running car onto my lift. do you use a spare battery to power the winch? does anyone make a 120 volt a/c winch?

I use a spare battery. They do make a 120VAC winch: 1500 lb. Capacity 120V AC Electric Winch

One has to wonder though if not anchored down would the hoist slip or slide on the concrete trying to pull the car up the driveway to hoist?

Nope. If you had the winch anchored to the floor maybe but not if the winch is attached to the lift crossbar.
